“I would like to take a minute to tell you that I consider Catalyst one of my professional blessings. When I approached Robert with the idea of taking ownership for Niku in 2004, I knew I had my work cut out for me. The tool is complicated enough, but our culture was such that getting adoption wouldn’t be easy. Lane and Melissa did a great job of not only getting the data in the tool cleaned up, but also helping us document the manual processes needed for Clarity to work correctly.

Then, with accountants breathing down our necks wanting to know what we should be capitalizing, even though they had no interest in the tool until the auditors demanded some sort of documentation to justify their figures (wow – auditors wanting documentation - what a surprise), Eva stepped in and helped us quickly implement financials. This allowed me to generate reports that will stand up to an audit trail and allowed the company to capitalize over $1 million dollars in 2005.

Catalyst really shortened the learning curve with Clarity, which greatly improved my comfort level and confidence in my new position. However, the best part of working with Eva, Melissa, Lane and Randy (the couple times I’ve worked with him) is that I look forward to the work. Often with vendors, consultants, or contractors the people assigned are so focused on the task that they have little or no personality, and they can make you feel quite inferior if you ask questions. That is hardly the case with Catalyst. In fact, I greatly enjoyed the conversations I’ve had with your people, and I truly consider Eva, Lane, Melissa, Randy and yourself to be friends."
